When I saw the Jimmy Choo Gwen Pony-Croc Flap Shoulder Bag online, I could not help but notice that there is way too much going on for such a small bag. The design team over at Jimmy Choo felt that a pony hair panel of leopard-print was not enough of a feature for the Gwen bag. Instead of covering the rest of the bag with a simple leather material, they used a croc-embossed calfskin material. The designers did not stop there because they added a shoulder strap with chain-links. On top of all this is a padlocked closure. I do not know what the designers were thinking when they created this bag but it seems as if there were two separate teams vying for the bag to go in two separate directions. For a retail price of $1695, Ill save my money and put it towards something a little less convoluted.
